Cry me a River

We are on hour two, pushing hour three of Max's crying spell. Our pattern went a little something like this: Rock, sing, feed, diaper change, sing, rock, bounce, diaper change, feed...pause...silence...mom and dad give a quiet high five in the air...too loud...rock, feed, diaper change, sing, bounce...

I gave up and passed him to Erik. Now I'm blogging. Nice, huh? I wonder what they did a hundred years ago without the internet during a time like this. I guess my little crisis is nothing compared to what they had to deal with 100 years ago. I still feel lucky, even with a little less hearing...

...it's quiet in there now...shhhh...

I feel your pain lady! That is really rough. At least both of you are there to tag team. It's so hard to listen to your baby cry for even 10 minutes, but 3 hours, man! I think the first month we had Addy, that's the most I've ever cried in my life and generally I wasn't crying for joy but out of sheer frustration! Hope it gets better!

I can tell you what they did 100 yrs ago, they handed the babies to Grandma!! I am excited to keep in touch with our blogs!!! Say hello to all your family for me, I'll check out their blogs from your page. I have Bryan and Becky's blogs on mine also. I hope your little man lets you sleep a little!

I laughed out loud at Kristen's perfect comment and then had to hold my stomach together... some muscles don't work on the other side of the globe that is my belly... three more days and this blog will be me!

Has Max stopped crying? I can remember when we had our first cry session, rough on all 3 of us. Plus we could not get away to blog!!! It will get better, I see that your sisters are offering lots of support!! Hehehe
