Yep, these are my countertops. They came with the house. I hate them.
Last year I found THIS recipe for these "Puh-bee Cuh-tees" (pumpkin cookies). It became a favorite and I made them again this morning. Max is addicted, as you can see below...he really knows how to "PICK" them...haha...

Oh, it makes me feel sad for him. He just wants those cookies so badly! I also love "the pick" right there at the end. Pumpkin cookies are so delicious! I need to make some very soon.
the cookie recipe sounds very similiar to the one i made...i may try it with an icing more similiar to yours next time though. i actually like the cookies plain too. i had a friend that did the exact same thing as kelly on my brownie post (as in, asked me for the recipe when i had it linked on the post). haha...guess it's a common mistake.
oooh. those look good! i just made pumpkin butter tonight with a recipe that same website, so i'm in the mood for more things to make with fresh pumpkin.
poor max! your mom really knows how to push your buttons. i bet the picking is a coping mechanism. :o)
